What We Do

What We Do

We promote sustainable forestry initiatives to maintain the health of the forest in the Park at Governor Dick.

We advocate to the Park’s Board of Trustees, who are tasked with overseeing the park’s health and operations.

We support the park staff, two part-time employees, who accomplish so much.

We have an active Education Committee that serves to support the educational initiatives at the park

Our leaders and members volunteer at the Second Saturday work days.

We encourage active participation in park fundraising.

Put out a monthly newsletter with a listing of upcoming events at the park.

Provide free-to-the-public events celebrating the community’s support for the park.
